1. About LlamaMail
LlamaMail is a local-first email client designed to help users connect and manage one or more email accounts from supported providers directly from their own device.
LlamaMail does not save, fetch, update, sync, or store your email data on LlamaMail servers.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use LlamaMail. If you use LlamaMail on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Your Accounts and Data
- Maintain access to and control over your connected email accounts.
- Keep your devices, passwords, and credentials secure.
- Ensure your use of LlamaMail complies with applicable laws and provider rules.
- Configure backups and local device security where appropriate.
You retain ownership of your email content and personal data.
4. Third-Party Providers
LlamaMail may connect to third-party services such as email providers, calendar providers, contact providers, and authentication providers.
Some providers such as Google or Microsoft may use a separate LlamaMail OAuth server for secure verification and token renewal only. No emails, contacts, calendar content, attachments, or synced account data are stored on LlamaMail servers during this process.
Your use of connected providers may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not violate any law or regulation.
- Do not send spam, malware, or unauthorized bulk communications.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where allowed by law.
- Do not abuse network resources or disrupt normal operation.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LlamaMail is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LlamaMail and its developers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Governing Law
Unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
